A. Yes. You can bring your existing phone numbers to Yourbiz VoIP phone. There is a one off charge of $19.95 inc GST for each number transferred.
A. Yes. Both your Fax and EFTPOS work fine with our Yourbiz Voice Box.
A.The quality of your Yourbiz VoIP phone is entirely dependant on the quality of your internet connection. Most customers notice the better clarity of the Yourbiz VoIP phone's because all our phones use a higher quality digital connection. Think tape verses CD. If your internet is unstable, or of a very bad quality, this will effect your calling quality.
A. With monitored alarms, there are a few options to allow them to work, both using a Yourbiz VoIP phone line, or by upgrading your monitored alarm to use a cellular connection or the internet. We can talk to you about these options and have alarm specialists to make the changeover easy.
A. Yes, you will not be able to buy SKY movies through your remote control, you will need to use the Sky 0800 service to book movies.
A. Yes.
A. For residential and businesses with less than 3 lines local calling is free.
A. The Yourbiz VoIP phone requires both power and the Internet for your Yourbiz VoIP phone to work. If either of these should fail your Yourbiz VoIP phone will not work. We can setup a automatic divert for incoming calls (the cost of the diverted calls to your mobile will appear on your bill) so you will never miss an incoming call.
A. The Yourbiz VoIP phone will operate over any broadband connection. If you use WorldxChange's broadband service you get your first Yourbiz VoIP phone line monthly rental for free and the traffic your Yourbiz VoIP phone uses won't affect your monthly allowance.
A. No. All active broadband connections in New Zealand have enough bandwidth to support a call, we reccomend only running 3-4 Yourbiz VoIP phone's on a single broadband connection.
A. Yes. You can point your existing number to the new phone system. The charge will depend on your current line rental provider and will appear on their bill.
